We have been privileged to launch three visionary EPs by Qatari sensation A.M.R in recent years. On our latest release, two of his standout original compositions, "Voyager" and "Flight," receive the remix treatment from veteran Russian phenoms Sound Quelle and Alex Pich, respectively. In each new interpretation, the combination of A.M.R's original themes with the distinctive artist signatures of these two veteran Russian phenoms proves quite breathtaking.
Sound Quelle kicks off the release with an ethereal take on "Voyager." It begins with a gentle deep-progressive groove, as the stirring string and vocal themes from the original version slowly begin to seep into the soundscape. In the main breakdown, a dramatic sequence unfolds, as the beats completely drop out and the song's indelibly emotive signature vocal motif is finally revealed. A climactic drop sequence follows, featuring Sound Quelle's vintage growling bass, which adds a jolt of adrenalin to an otherwise smooth 'voyage.'
Alex Pich, known for deeply evocative soundscapes, serves up a characteristically moody and introspective take on "Flight." A cavernous aura imbues his moody, introspective interpretation form the song's earliest moments. As an intoxicating groove slowly begins to crescendo, crystalline melodic effects, including the unforgettable piano theme from the original mix, seem to drip down from the stalactite and stalagmite columns. In the closing minutes of the arrangement, additional variations on the main melodic themes leave the listener in a state of wonderment.

Out of these two remix albums I much prefer Remix 02 as there are alot more remixes with which I enjoy. Monstercat Silk has done an amazing job with the selection of artists as this was the album that made me want to drive deep into the Monstercat realm with which allowed me to discover an album with which I look forward to purchasing in the future. Although not as spectacular as it's younger brother The Midnight Remixed does have a couple of good tracks making it worth purchasing and eleven.five 'Leftfield' 's remix of Jason is one of them. Amazing work. DJ Fazbear
